LightWater Sanctuary is a quiet rural practice offering Registered Massage Therapy, the Ilan Lev Method, and GYROTONIC® movement sessions.
You are welcome here when tension has become constant.
When pain keeps returning.
When stress has settled into the body.
Care is steady, attentive, and unhurried.
You are invited to remember what your body already knows: how to restore balance, how to move freely, and how to come home to yourself.

Skilled, responsive care for pain relief and mobility.
Experience: relaxation • presence • clarity • vitality

Spiraling, joint-friendly strength and mobility and decompression training.
Experience: flow • expansion • strength • grace • embodied vitality

A gentle approach for reorganizing persistent tension patterns.
Experience: joy • expansion • coherence • curiosity • renewal
Sessions here are collaborative and responsive.
Rather than forcing change, we listen for it together.
Rather than working against the body, we work with it.
This is care designed for lasting ease — not short-term intensity.
Sue is LightWater Sanctuary. She grew up in this area, surrounded by land and community that shaped her early sense of rhythm and belonging.
At eleven, she left to attend seven years at Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto — an experience that deepened her understanding of discipline, movement, and the intelligence of the body. Years of training and clinical practice in the city followed.
Living away offered perspective.
Training refined perception.
Clinical work sharpened skill.
Over time, the pull to return home became clear.
Creating LightWater Sanctuary reflects that journey — combining rural roots with years of professional refinement.
It is both a continuation and a return.
